Job summary

Hatch is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead complex mining operational transformation engagements, owning delivery and client relationships, and guiding multidisciplinary teams to practical, measurable outcomes.

You will structure engagements, manage workstreams, and drive risk-aware strategies across mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure projects, leveraging expertise in strategy, transformation, and capital productivity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of management consulting experience.
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or equivalent; an advanced graduate degree is an asset.
• Experience in mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure projects, including large-scale operational engagements.
• Functional knowledge in strategy, transaction support, business transformation, capital productivity, supply chain, asset and maintenance management, organizational effectiveness, or risk management.
• Client relationship management, business development, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engagements and manage subject matter experts, workstreams, resources, budgets, schedules, and quality.
• Structure client problems, guide analysis, address barriers, and respond to client concerns.
• Coach and mentor team members and clients throughout the value-creation process.
• Build client relationships, manage stakeholder expectations, and identify opportunities to develop innovative services.
• Contribute to project risk evaluation, start-up planning, workshops, assessments, and operational strategy.
