- Structure the launch of new projects, assess risks, set financial objectives, and define an execution strategy with an effective internal / external communication plan.
- Define a technical strategy and procurement plan in collaboration with engineering and procurement.
- Plan and coordinate all activities to meet contractual obligations and financial goals.
- Ensure monitoring and compliance with contractual requirements, quality, health and safety standards, and schedules.
- Organize and lead team meetings, draft minutes, and track action items.
- Prepare documentation for project reviews, assess risks / opportunities, and recommend contingency plans.
- Prepare and negotiate client claims as needed.
- Ensure effective project close-out upon completion.
Profile :
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing heavy industrial projects (experience in hydroelectricity or energy production equipment is an asset)
- Demonstrated achievements managing complex projects with tight schedules
- Leadership, teamwork, and innovation abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication (French and English)
- Willingness to travel as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (asset)
- PMP certification (asset)
