Job summary

TC Energy Corp. is seeking a Student Intern to support daily validation, reporting, and analytics for the commercial trading and marketing teams.

You will gain exposure to mid-office operations, energy markets, and data-driven decision-making in a hands-on environment. As part of a collaborative team, you will learn market fundamentals, work with SQL/Python/R, and contribute to reporting processes while supporting safe and reliable energy delivery across North America.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Economics, Business, Commerce, Mathematics, or related degree program
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term

Responsibilities

• Support daily validation and reporting activities for the commercial trading and marketing organization
• Monitor and analyze market, trading, and operational data to support business processes
• Assist with reporting, data management, and analytical activities that support commercial operations
• Support the preparation and maintenance of recurring reports and business metrics
• Work with stakeholders to investigate data discrepancies and support resolution activities
• Develop a working knowledge of natural gas and power market fundamentals, industry terminology, and commercial processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting, analytics, and data quality
