Information you must provide
In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
EDUCATION
Graduation with a diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in an Engineering Technology or Technician program
Possession of a journeyman certificate in an electrical or mechanical trade.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in operating, installing, repairing, programming and calibrating building automation controls for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Experience in troubleshooting various problems and deficiencies within building automated systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office system applications.

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of building automation control strategies and programming theory.
Knowledge of building air quality and the functionality of building mechanical systems.

Experience operating, monitoring and programming Energy Management Control Systems.

Must be in possession of a valid and unrestricted Provincial Driver’s Licence.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DND 404 driving permit.
Must be able to climb and work off ladders and platforms.
Must be able to lift and carry 23 kg safely.
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector, Directive on Conflict of Interest, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAOD) 7021-1, Conflict of Interest.
