As an Energy Engineer & Project Manager at WalterFedy, you will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful energy and carbon reduction projects to our diverse client base. This is more than just a technical role—it's an opportunity to collaborate across disciplines, lead client-facing initiatives, and mentor the next generation of engineers. You'll design and implement energy-efficient solutions, tackle complex engineering challenges, and help optimize smart buildings.

The ideal candidate is a Professional Engineer, with 7+ years of experience in energy and carbon solutions, preferably in consulting. You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, sustainability or a related field, with certifications like PMP, CEM, LEED AP or Certified Decarbonization Professional Designer/Consultant as strong assets.

Proficient in tools such as eQuest, Energy+, and Helioscope, you have a solid grasp of codes like ASHRAE and the CaGBC Zero Carbon Design standard. With excellent problem-solving and communication skills, you excel in both independent and team settings, building strong client relationships and mentoring junior engineers.

  • Mentorship and Team Development: Guide junior engineers, deliver internal training, and ensure high-quality project execution through technical oversight.
  • Sustainability and Innovation Focus: Drive renewable energy initiatives, smart building optimization, and compliance sustainability standards.
