Job description

Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will apply the maintenance best practices in terms of preventative and corrective maintenance, as well as playing an important role between the planning and the execution of work. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Develop, review, and revise standard maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance programs
  • Identify critical spares and coordinate onsite inventories with Supply Chain
  • Develop detailed job plans that include the identification of required resources, internal and external services, tools, equipment, materials, and procedures with estimated task durations required for completion of the work
  • Manage material receiving and kitting
  • Update and maintain work order status’ in JD Edwards to ensure backlog and history accuracy
  • Develop detailed schedules, procedures and workflows to sustain and improve safe working conditions and maximum equipment availability
  • Maintain equipment records, maintenance work records and equipment documentation
  • All other activities as assigned by the Planning Supervisor
  • Degree or diploma in mechanical, or industrial field
  • 3 years’ of experience worked in maintenance field
  • 2 years’ of experience using computerized maintenance management systems
  • Experience in building/infrastructure maintenance is considered an asset
  • Mining experience is considered an asset
  • Experience with JD Edwards is considered an asset
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest.
  • Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
