Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Fredericton is looking for an experienced professional to support endpoint devices in a healthcare setting. The role entails working closely with various teams to ensure effective deployment, ongoing maintenance, and enhancement of user experience. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with Windows and Thin Client endpoints, along with a relevant degree. This position requires travel throughout the province and on-site work as necessary.

Job Description:
  • This role involves close collaboration with CIS, operational, and clinical teams to ensure the smooth deployment and maintenance of endpoint devices, as well as ongoing improvements to user experience and endpoint performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Travel throughout the province and perform on-site work as required.
  • Collaborate with CIS teams to support endpoint device selection and deployment.
  • Work with operational and clinical teams to document requirements for technology deployment.
  • Participate in testing plans, disaster recovery plans, and clinical user acceptance plans.
  • Support vendor assessments, requirements gathering, and process improvement activities.
  • Participate in endpoint device configuration testing and validation.
  • Assist with hardware lifecycle management including procurement, imaging, asset tracking, and decommissioning.
  • Contribute to user experience improvements through feedback and endpoint tuning.
  • Maintain endpoint security compliance through patching, antivirus management, and configuration baselines.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical instructions, and support processes.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Windows and Thin Client endpoints, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools such as SCCM, Intune, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with presentation layer systems such as Citrix, Horizon, or AVD.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
