Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the new Endoscopy Alternative Pathway Team. You will support a brand-new service including Trans Nasal Endoscopy, bowel capsule procedures, and capsule sponge services, working with Nurse Endoscopists and a multidisciplinary team.

You will participate in the development of the service, receive competency-guided training, and contribute to safe patient care across the diagnostic pathway.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.

Responsibilities

• Rotating through pre-assessment, admission, procedure assistance, recovery and discharge for Endoscopy procedures.
• Contribute to safe delivery of patient care within the Endoscopy Alternative Pathway service.
• Assist with development and training for Capsule Sponge procedures.
