We’re Hiring an Endodontist – Part-Time | Hamilton, ON

Dundurn Dental Specialty is looking for an experienced, patient-focused Endodontist to join our beautiful new specialty clinic in Hamilton, Ontario.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Endodontist looking for a flexible part-time commitment while becoming part of a growing multidisciplinary specialty practice. The opportunity will initially consist of a couple of days per month, with significant potential to add additional clinical days as referrals, patient demand, and the clinic continue to grow.

Whether you are looking to complement an existing practice or establish a larger presence in the Hamilton market, we would love to connect.

About Dundurn Dental Specialty

Dundurn Dental Specialty was created with one purpose: to provide exceptional specialty care in an environment built around clinical precision, collaboration, and the patient experience.

Our modern Hamilton clinic brings multiple dental specialties together under one roof, allowing specialists to collaborate while supporting strong communication and continuity of care with referring dentists.

With a thoughtfully designed clinical environment, modern diagnostic technology, and a team focused exclusively on specialty care, Dundurn provides an excellent setting for specialists to deliver the level of care their patients and referring partners expect.

The Opportunity

As our Endodontist, you will play an important role in establishing and growing the endodontic program at Dundurn Dental Specialty.

You will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with referring dentists throughout Hamilton and surrounding communities while providing comprehensive endodontic treatment within a collaborative specialty environment.

Initially, the commitment will be approximately a couple of days each month during regular business hours. As the clinic and referral network continue to develop, there is strong opportunity to expand your schedule and take on additional days.

We are looking for someone who is excited not simply to work a few days each month, but to grow alongside the clinic and become a trusted specialty resource within the dental community.

What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose and treat complex pulpal, periapical, and endodontic conditions
  • Provide root canal therapy, retreatment, and surgical endodontic procedures as clinically appropriate
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging, magnification, and modern endodontic techniques
  • Develop thoughtful, evidence-informed treatment plans focused on preserving natural dentition whenever possible
  • Provide patients with clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment recommendations, alternatives, and prognosis
  • Collaborate with referring dentists to support coordinated treatment and continuity of care
  • Work alongside other dental specialists to support patients with complex or multidisciplinary treatment needs
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation and communication with referring providers
  • Help build strong relationships and confidence within Dundurn’s growing referral community
What We’re Looking For
  • Successful completion of an accredited specialty program in Endodontics
  • Board Certified and in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) as an Endodontist
  • Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic capabilities, and technical expertise
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centred care
  • Excellent communication skills with both patients and referring dental professionals
  • Collaborative approach and interest in working within a multidisciplinary specialty environment
  • Professional, dependable, and relationship-focused
  • Interest in helping establish and grow a specialty program over the longer term

This opportunity is structured as a commission-based independent contractor engagement. Engagement terms and compensation will be governed by an executed independent contractor agreement. This is not an employee position.

If you are an Endodontist looking for a flexible opportunity with room to grow — and you are excited about becoming part of a new specialty clinic with significant potential — we would love to hear from you.

Join Dundurn Dental Specialty and help us build an exceptional destination for specialty dental care in Hamilton.
