The successful candidate will be responsible for operating encapsulation machinery, ensuring efficient production, maintaining equipment, and following strict safety and quality standards. The Encapsulation Operator will work closely with the production team to ensure that all nutraceutical products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and in compliance with industry regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Set up, operate, and monitor encapsulation machines to produce softgel or hard capsule products.
- Ensure accurate measurement of raw materials, including powders, liquids, and other ingredients, according to production specifications.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, including inspecting capsules for proper size, weight, and appearance.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs and maintenance on encapsulation equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety standards.
- Complete batch records, logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor production rates and adjust machine settings to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with quality control and other departments to ensure that products meet all regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating encapsulation equipment in a nutraceutical environment.
- Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations as they relate to nutraceutical production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict instructions and procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
