Knoxdale Public School, a French Immersion centre in Ottawa, is seeking qualified teachers for Long Term Occasional postings.

Ideal candidates will hold OCT Divisional Qualifications: Primary and OCT Additional Qualifications: Spec Ed 2, and will work in a Primary Special Needs class with several Educational Assistants throughout the day. Eligibility includes all occasional teachers; external applicants may apply if qualified.

Knoxdale Public School is a French Immersion Centre located in a well-established community in Ottawa’s west end. At Knoxdale, staff, students and parents work together toward common goals - academic excellence, social and emotional development, and positive attitudes. Knoxdale has an enrolment of over 700 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6, representing diverse cultures and languages. Knoxdale Kindergarten program is proud to offer full day English/French Full Day Learning .

• At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
• If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
