We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at RIchmond Public School. Richmond PS is a small, K-5 community school located in the village town of Richmond, just south west of Ottawa. Richmond PS offers the bilingual kindergarten program, regular english programming for grades 1-5, and the choice of MFI in grade 4 and 5. Our school slogan is "Stronger Together", and for a small school, we truly do have a strong community spirit. Our staff are dedicated to ensuring that our students and families feel seen, heard, respected and represented, and we place great value on our positive school culture.

All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified. If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications.

Placements

Prior to releasing the applicant lists - where possible, HR will conduct placements of remaining FSL & EN pool participants upon posting closing.

Shortlisting

For those assignments not placed, HR will shortlist and release applications to admin upon closing, to review/offer interviews.

A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview, including:

• At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.


• If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
