Job summary

Siemens Software Canada is seeking an Emulation Applications Engineer to provide hands-on engineering for hardware-assisted verification and emulation solutions across complex ASIC/SoC designs.

You will work with customer teams to configure and deploy Siemens EDA emulation systems, develop automation scripts, and support production deployments while traveling within North America as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related.
• 4+ years in ASIC/SoC design, verification, emulation, or related fields.
• Experience with hardware-assisted verification and emulation tools.
• Proficient in RTL design/verification (SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL).
• Familiarity with C/C++/SystemC and verification methodologies.
• Ability to diagnose complex RTL, software, and emulation issues.

Responsibilities

• Implement and integrate emulation and hardware-assisted verification solutions for customer environments.
• Configure, test, validate, and deploy Veloce emulation systems for ASIC/SoC designs.
• Analyze designs and verification environments to define implementation requirements.
• Develop scripts and automation to integrate and operate emulation solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and provide technical demonstrations.
