We are seeking compassionate and caring emergency medical technicians (EMTs) who are interested in full-time and part-time opportunities to provide medical transportation and patient care. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Provides basic life support, including patient assessment, airway management, and use of the automatic defibrillator.
• Drives ambulances, transporting patients to and from various medical facilities and/or homes in non-emergency and emergency situations.
• Provides oxygen therapy to patients.
• Lifts stretcher and secures patients for transport.
• Communicates with patients, caregivers, and family members in a compassionate manner.
• Communicates with medical facility staff regarding patients.
• Regularly communicates with dispatcher regarding transportation status and provides critical information.
• Documents transportation activities, ensuring accurate information is recorded.
• Maintains clean and orderly vehicles and supplies in the ambulance.
• Cleans and disinfects equipment between patients.

Job Requirements:

• EMT Certification Required
• Must have a BLS CPR certification for health care providers (On Time can provide).
• Driver’s License in good standing (if hired as a driver).
• Must meet LogistiCare approval as a condition of employment.
• Lift requirements of 150 lbs.
