Qualifications

• Non-restricted registration in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACOP).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence, or equivalent, with a five-year driving abstract dated within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily fleet maintenance and coordinate the movement of vehicles to and from vendors.
• Inspect and repair equipment (e.g., power cots, power loads, suction units).
• Prioritize, schedule, and complete vehicle and medical equipment inspections; engage with approved vendors as required.
• Assist with direct patient contact and support medical care; respond to disasters or large-scale incidents within Alberta as needed.
• Work in demanding conditions with extensive standing, twisting, and lifting up to 105 lbs.
