Responsibilities

  • Act as a Captain according to company operation standards.
  • Perform IFR flights in challenging and rapidly changing environments.
  • Work closely with customers, respond efficiently to aircraft tasking, while maintaining high safety standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively between crew and dispatch.
  • Perform duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager.
  • Transition from First Officer to Captain may be required.

Qualifications

  • Valid and unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License.
  • Valid Canadian Passport or authorization to work in Canada and travel to the USA (no sponsorship available).
  • Minimum of 2000 hours of rotary wing flight time.
  • Minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC), including 200 hours in multi-engine aircraft.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations with actual IFR flight hours as PIC.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical.
  • NVG experience is an asset.
  • Ability to complete the Controlled Goods Security Assessment for NVG purposes.
  • Endorsement on S76 is an asset.
  • Previous experience flying in a 703 Air Ambulance operation as a Captain is preferred.
  • Experience flying in Eastern Canada is an asset.
  • Customer-focused, team player, good communication skills, and positive attitude.
  • Immunization records with required vaccinations are mandatory.

Additional Information

Remuneration: Competitive salary based on experience.

Schedule: Shift schedule, 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off.
