EMS / OHS / QMS Third Party Auditor - Remote- Quebec

Intertek is seeking an EMS / OHS / QMS Third Party Auditor to join our Business Assurance team in Quebec, Canada. This role offers a great opportunity to develop a versatile career in Management System Auditing.

Responsibilities include:

• Following Intertek's Compliance Code, Policies, and Procedures
• Representing the audit team and Intertek to clients
• Developing Audit Plans
• Planning and coordinating travel for audits
• Evaluating clients' management systems through documentation review, on-site observation, and interviews
• Identifying and documenting conformance and nonconformance areas
• Writing comprehensive reports and recommendations
• Evaluating and approving client corrective actions
• Submitting timely time and expense reports
• Training, mentoring, and witnessing audit teammates as part of the qualification process

Qualifications for success:

• Education, training, and experience in environmental, safety, and quality management
• 5+ years of professional industry experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems principles and practices
• Understanding of EMS / OHS laws and regulations
• Experience with ISO management system implementation or auditing
• Ability to travel 75% of the time by plane or car
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification
• Preferred: 3rd Party Auditing experience

This is a remote position; applicants must reside and be authorized to work in Canada.

Physical requirements include:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand technical reports and manuals
• Physical ability to perform assessments, including bending, stooping, reaching, climbing
• Mobility for travel and on-site assessments
• Stamina for full shifts and exposure to industrial environments
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders and handle objects up to 10 pounds
• Visual acuity for detailed inspections and data analysis
