Job summary

ESO is seeking a Product Manager to lead EMS and fire department product lines, driving from 911 intake through field operations and reporting. You will balance strategic trade-offs with detailed backlog management, using AI to draft user stories and triage requests while coordinating with Sales, Support, and Executives.

You will collaborate with product design and engineering in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, ensuring successful product launches and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a similar backlog-ownership role.
  • Experience in product management at a fast-growing software company.
  • Proficient and experienced using AI to optimize day-to-day job, building AI-first product solutions.
  • Strong judgment for reviewing and correcting AI-generated content before it reaches a team.
  • Clear written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Fire and EMS domains you own.
  • Own, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for each assigned team or domain.
  • Communicate the product vision by highlighting proposed features and their business value.
  • Use AI tools to draft requirements, build prototypes, and test desirability before engineering commits build time.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies across owned teams and coordinate with design/engineering.
  • Manage releases as a collection of features, architectural improvements, and technical debt reductions.
