Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Employment Specialist located in Red Deer, AB. The Employment Specialist will be responsible for assisting clients in securing employment through professional resume development, job searching, and interviewing techniques. Responsibilities include conducting client assessments, providing career counseling, developing individualized employment plans, and providing community referrals. The role also involves establishing connections with local employers and service providers to create job opportunities and network connections for clients.

  • Post-secondary diploma or higher in Career Development, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or other closely related industry
  • 2+ years of demographic specific or general human service experience
