A charitable organization in Vancouver is seeking an Employment Facilitator. The role involves supporting Autistic youth and adults in overcoming employment barriers, facilitating workshops, and providing individualized support. Candidates should have experience in career counselling, a related educational background, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their employment goals. This is a temporary full-time position with a salary range of $50,000-$55,000 per year.
The Canucks Autism Network (CAN) is looking to add an Employment Facilitator for our Skills Training Employment Program (CAN-STEP) in Vancouver. The Employment Facilitator will provide flexible and holistic services to support Autistic youth and adults (ages 16+) facing barriers to employment. The role supports participants' employment readiness by facilitating workshops and supporting job search activities. Reports to the Employment Program Manager.
Wage: $50,000-$55,0000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
Location: Vancouver. Must be able to commit to working in the office.
Position Type: Temporary Full-time
Contract Length: Until March 31, 2027
The CAN Skills Training Employment Program (CAN-STEP) is funded by the Opportunities Fund through the Government of Canada. This program is designed to support Autistic youth by providing training and work experience in growing industries. The program is delivered in a group-based cohort model with a strong focus on providing participants with the skills and certification necessary to achieve employment.
