HOURS: 35 hours per week

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Employer Liaison who thrives on outreach and achieving targets. You will be the primary bridge between our skilled participants and the business community, acting as both a job developer and a recruitment partner.

Reporting to the Project Coordinator, the successful candidate will utilize their previous experience to proactively search for new opportunities, "sell" the value of our programs to employers, and "secure" jobs for participants. You will use your recruitment and account management skills to build a strong pipeline of jobs in key sectors like healthcare and senior care. If you are a goal-oriented connector who excels at building relationships and is driven to meet targets, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Your role is focused on three key areas: Job Development, Recruitment & Matching, and Support & Retention.

Job Development & Employer Outreach
  • Proactively develop a robust pipeline of work opportunities by conducting targeted outreach to new and existing employers (cold calls, emails, in-person visits, and networking).
  • Promote and "sell" the benefits of our programs to employers, including job matching services, job support.
  • Build and maintain strong employment relationships, acting as a single point of contact and trusted recruitment and staffing service for businesses.
  • Arrange and coordinate events, including targeted job fairs and networking sessions, to connect employers directly with talent pool.
  • Provide assistance/backup as needed to the Facilitator as needed.
Recruitment & Job Matching
  • Connect participants to the employer community by actively matching their skills, interests, and career goals with suitable job opportunities.
  • Provide a full suite of recruitment services to employers, including conducting needs assessments, screening candidates, and referring qualified individuals.
  • Ensure program integrity by vetting employers, confirming they meet all eligibility criteria, and conducting at least one site visit per employer to confirm a safe and suitable work environment.
Participant & Employer Support
  • Oversee the employment process from start to finish and monitor progress.
  • Provide expert job search coaching to participants, both individually and in group settings, to prepare them for success (e.g., resumes, interviews, job search strategies).
  • Act as a mediator and coach to identify and resolve any workplace issues, providing job retention support to ensure long-term success for both the participant and the employer.
  • Integrate all work seamlessly with the project teams to ensure a holistic and successful client journey.
  • Collect and analyze statistics and program evaluation data and draft monthly/quarterly reports for review by the Project Coordinator.
Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about both sales and social impact.

Required Experience & Skills:
  • Proven Track Record: Minimum 2 years of target-driven experience demonstrated in Job Development, Recruitment, B2B Sales, or Account Management.
  • Coaching & Facilitation: Minimum 2 years of experience facilitating job search sessions and/or providing one-on-one employment coaching to adult learners.
  • Education: University Degree or College Diploma in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Social Services) OR an equivalent combination of demonstrated skills and experience.
  • A "Seeker" Mentality: You are goal-oriented, resilient, and highly organized, with superior time management skills and a drive to achieve placement targets.
  • Master Communicator: Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Dynamic Presenter: Strong presentation, facilitation, and one-on-one coaching skills.
