New employees must provide documentation/proof of COVID-19 vaccination status, a 2-step TB test, as well as proof of immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (chickenpox) prior to their start date at Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN). New Employees will require clearance from Employee Health, Safety and Wellness before they are able to begin any position within WRHN.
The Employee Relations Associate reports to the Manager, Labour and Employee Relations. The successful candidate will provide effective administrative support to the Labour and Employee Relations team by inputting and updating grievances into databases and running reports, creating grievance files, agendas, minute taking and action items for grievances, labour management and disability management meetings.
The Employee Relations Associate will coordinate meetings as required, assist with grievance, labour management and employee corrective action responses.
The successful incumbent will also assist with compiling files for legal counsel, composing letters, processing union leave requests and assisting with research into matters. They will compile and publish seniority lists as well as running audit reports and other regularly required reports. There will be additional project work as required.
