Employee Listening & Engagement Specialist

As part of the National HR team, the Employee Experience Centre of Excellence (COE) focuses on key moments that matter through the talent development lifecycle, including performance development, employee listening and engagement, leadership milestone programs, and employer branding. The Employee Experience team collaborates with various HR and Business Enablement Services teams to deliver innovative programs that enhance the employee experience.

We are seeking an Employee Listening Specialist to support our Performance and Engagement team by understanding employee sentiment and improving engagement. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Performance and Engagement, and involves developing, implementing, and analyzing employee feedback programs to foster a positive work environment.

What You Will Do
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Qualtrics, understanding both technical aspects and practical usage.
  • Develop project plans and timelines for initiatives such as Talent Reviews, Upward Feedback, Pulses, and other listening initiatives.
  • Create and maintain PowerBI dashboards for the performance and engagement team.
  • Analyze data to support decision-making, utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods for employee feedback surveys like GPS, Pulse surveys, and Lifecycle surveys.
  • Interpret survey results and prepare reports with actionable insights for leadership and HR teams.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across platforms managed by the COE.
What You Bring To The Role
  • Experience in research, survey design, methodology, and data analytics.
  • 1-3 years of experience in employee listening, HR, or related roles.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues with survey platforms and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment.

This position requires fluency in English, supporting communication with colleagues and stakeholders, and assisting in creating communications and presentations.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range

The base salary range is $46,500 to $70,500, with potential bonuses. Salary is determined based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
