Qualifications

• Valid Health Care Aide Certificate to qualify as a trained HCA.
• At least three years of health care experience or knowledge of long-term care philosophy.
• Strong English communication and writing skills; another language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene and daily living support per Elder Care Plan.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and restorative care as required.
• Monitor changes in elders' condition and report to supervisor.
• Document care accurately in the EHR and participate in activities.
