Stantec’s Calgary Water team is looking for an Engineer-in-Training to join our growing practice and help deliver innovative water and wastewater solutions across Western Canada and North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, process, or civil engineering with strong interest in water/wastewater projects and EIT eligibility within six months.
• 0-4 years of experience, co-op/internship considered an asset.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in diverse team environments.

Responsibilities

• Undertake municipal water and wastewater treatment system and pump station planning and design.
• Prepare technical reports, design reports, and memoranda summarizing calculations and analyses.
• Produce design drawings, specifications, tender documents, and approvals applications under supervision of a senior engineer.
• Present to clients and coordinate with senior engineers and project managers on progress.
