Overview

MaintainX is the world's leading Asset and Work Intelligence platform for industrial and frontline environments. MaintainX powers operational excellence for 12,000+ businesses including Duracell, Univar Solutions Inc., Titan America, McDonald's, Brenntag, Cintas, Xylem, and Shell. We recently completed a $150 million Series D round, bringing our total funding to $254 million and valuing the company at $2.5 billion.

We are looking for an Account Executive based in either Montreal or Toronto in Canada or Raleigh or Austin in the United States. This role is full-cycle: from prospecting, discovery, demo, to signature, with ownership and accountability within a defined market at MaintainX.

Responsibilities
  • New Logo Sales – close new accounts and consistently hit targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Prospecting – contribute pipeline through self-outbound efforts in addition to leads from marketing and the BDR team.
  • Lead Conversion – nurture warm leads from sales cycle to close.
  • Presentation – conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and closing calls.
  • Forecast – forecast monthly and quarterly sales with +/- 15% accuracy.
  • Organize – manage multiple tasks (new leads, demos, proposals, follow-ups) to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Systems – become proficient with tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others.
  • Getting Better Every Day – participate in onboarding and ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Thought Leadership – develop an understanding and passion for the industry, learning at every opportunity.
  • Startup Mentality – embrace an entrepreneurial, grind-it-out approach to building something new.
About you
  • 2+ years of total sales experience in a closing role.
  • Documented success as a closer.
  • Ability to articulate metrics and data.
  • Willingness to prospect and contribute to your own pipeline. Whatever it takes.
  • Experience conducting discovery calls and product demonstrations.
  • Comfortable moving fast, multi-tasking, and keeping energy high.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication ability.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
  • Positive, passionate, creative, smart, high-character personality.
  • BA degree or higher.
Bonus if you have
  • Experience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etc.
  • Experience with startups and entrepreneurial organizations.
  • Experience working in CMMS or facility operations software.
  • Documented success working in a remote setting.
