Northern Health is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse – Emergency for the University Hospital of Northern BC in Prince George. You will collaborate with an interprofessional team to deliver direct patient care across a range of emergencies, from non-urgent to life-threatening, guided by nursing science and ethics.

The role requires graduation from an approved School of Nursing, BC College of Nurses and Midwives registration, and current BLS/ACLS.

Formación

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing and registration with BCCNM as a practicing RN registrant.
• Completion of a recognized Emergency Nursing specialty program or equivalent education/experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS credentials.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and provide direct patient care for diverse health issues, from non-urgent to life-threatening in the Emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to ensure patient- and family-centered care.
• Maintain and monitor cardiac status and IV access, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
