THE POSITION
This position will report to the WBS Manager. The on-call worker is responsible for responding to all calls received outside of normal office hours. This position is responsible for a broad range of child and youth welfare services including intake, assessment, and clinical interventions with children and their families in communities. This person will be required to initiate investigations of abuse/neglect, offer crisis intervention services, and ensure that admitted children are safe and protected. This position answers incoming calls and connects with the manager or supervisor before making any decisions.
