Job summary

Head Medical is assisting a hospital group in Ontario to recruit Emergency Medicine specialists for multiple sites across Grey Bruce, including Owen Sound and neighboring communities. The roles offer full-time employment within a collaborative regional system.

Compensation ranges from $400,000 to $600,000 CAD annually, with an hourly stipend and incentive components. Licensing support and relocation assistance are available for permanent hires.

Qualifications

• FRCPC in Emergency Medicine or equivalent board certification (e.g., ABEM, CCT from the UK, FACEM)

Responsibilities

• Must hold or be eligible for independent licensure with CPSO.
• Join Emergency Medicine teams across Grey Bruce in Owen Sound, Markdale, Meaford, Southampton, Wiarton and Lion's Head.
• Practice across diverse hospital settings with shared standards and collaboration.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives, Advanced Simulation Training, Physician Leadership Development and rural-based Research, as interests permit.
