Clinic Details — Kelowna General Hospital

Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) is one of two tertiary hospitals within Interior Health and serves as the region’s main referral center, offering a full range of services with approximately 400 beds and over 85,000 ED visits yearly. Adjacent to KGH is the Interior Heart & Surgical Centre (IHSC), BC’s only cardiac critical care centre outside of Victoria. KGH is also a University Health Science Center affiliated with UBC’s Southern Medical Program, participating in training Royal College Emergency Medicine Physicians and Family Physicians.

Practice Details

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Kelowna General Hospital is seeking an emergency physician for a part-time locum opportunity. This locum opportunity consists of 6-7 ED shifts/month, with flexibility for more shifts if desired. Alternative contract lengths and shift schedules will be considered.
