Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority seeks an Emergency Medical Technician-PCP for the Weyburn EMS Office. You will respond to calls, perform initial assessments, provide treatment and transport for ill or injured persons, and work within the SAHO/HSAS collective agreement guidelines.

Preference given to HSAS members. Expect shifts including days, nights, evenings and weekends with EMS hours and no guaranteed hours. Must hold PCP diploma and ITLS certification.

Qualifications

• Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP) required.
• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certificate required.
• Registered EMT/PCP with appropriate provincial credentials required.
• Valid Class 4 driver's license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
• Provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons.
• Adhere to HSAS terms and conditions per SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement when applicable.

Job Description: The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons.
