Job description

TheOnsite Medical Representative (OMR)role requires a passionate healthcare professional to provide first aid support and safety coaching to associates. You will work closely with the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and Injury Prevention Specialist, ensuring the health and safety of all associates while managing workplace injury prevention, case management, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providefirst aidsupport for occupational and non-occupational injuries.
  • Minimize injury risk througheducation and proactive engagementwith associates.
  • Maintain anddocument all medical recordsof care provided.
  • Oversee theworkers' compensationprogram and manage return-to-work processes.
  • Submitdaily activity logsandend-of-shift reports.
  • Engage with associates on the operations floor, providing coaching on safe work habits and at-risk behaviors.
  • Maintain a clean medical environmentand ensure medical supplies are well-stocked.
  • Participate inFirst Aid, CPR, and AEDtraining and maintain certifications.
  • Assist withdrug testing protocolsand emergency care delivery.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diplomaor equivalent.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support)certification.
  • One of the following:
  • EMT or Paramedic Certificationfrom the Department of Health or NREMT.
  • Six months job experiencein the Military as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, or similar.
  • Active Athletic Trainer Certificationfrom BOC or state certification.

Preferred:

  • Certified to teachFirst Aid, CPR, and AEDthrough theAmerican Heart AssociationorAmerican Red Cross.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience withindustrial wellness programs,musculoskeletal disorders, andergonomics.
  • Knowledge ofOSHA regulationsandWorkers' Compensationprocedures.
  • Skilled indigital record keeping.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule:Training: Wednesday-Saturday 7 am- 5:30 pm
  • Shift: nights Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6 pm to 4:30 am
  • Contract Length:6 months
  • Pay Rate:$30 - $37/hour
