Shared Health-Soins Communs in Manitoba is seeking an Emergency Medical Responder to deliver compassionate healthcare as part of a multidisciplinary team. You'll be responsible for integrated patient care and ensure safe operations according to regulatory standards.
The position requires relevant experience, a valid class IV driver's license, and a Certificate of Practice with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba. Knowledge of emergency protocols and ability to work with diverse populations are essential.
Emergency Medical Responders provide care to patients as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team and are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality health care services. The Emergency Medical Responder is responsible for providing accessible, responsive, and integrated patient care at all times. They collaborate with health care providers, allied emergency service agencies, and other community agencies. This role is responsible for the safe, effective operation and use of vehicles and equipment as per Manitoba Provincial Regulations, Acts, and Shared Health policy. The Emergency Medical Responder will be expected to conduct themselves professionally, ethically, and demonstrate commitment to the mission, vision, values, goals, objectives, and policies of Shared Health.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
