The Manitoba Metis Federation is seeking 10 Emergency Management Support Workers for a temporary role in Winnipeg, focused on assisting evacuees during a wildfire emergency. Responsibilities include greeting evacuees, providing food assistance, and supporting administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a background in emergency response or community aid, and a willingness to work flexible shifts. The MMF seeks to fill 10 Emergency Management Support Worker positions located at 406 McGregor Avenue and 25 Ray Marius Road in Winnipeg, MB. This is a temporary position lasting 4 weeks with the possibility of an extension, offering a minimum of 40 hours per week at a rate of $ per hour. Meals are included. In response to the current wildfire emergency, we are urgently looking for support to assist with evacuees displaced by the fires. This is a rewarding opportunity in supporting essential needs of evacuees from all over Manitoba, with the pride and commitment of the MMF, the National Government of the Red River Métis.
