Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Edmonton is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the UAH Emergency Department. You will work in a fast-paced, tertiary care hospital environment, providing patient- and family-centred care with an interprofessional team.

The role requires ED experience, LPN registration, and BCLS-HCP certification. Shifts include days, evenings and weekends, with a 0.70 FTE and on-site work at the University of Alberta Hospital.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centred care in a fast-paced ED.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for emergency patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, effective care.
