Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Barrie offers a busy ED with a strong teaching program and regional specialty support. This residency rotation provides supervision by a rotation and on-shift supervisor for each shift, with flexible scheduling and weekend options.

The position is suitable for PGY4 or PGY5 in Emergency Medicine, and approval by the Residency Program Director is required. Remuneration is $150/hour, with start date 07/01/20 and shifts booked about 8 weeks in advance.

Detail:

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Barrie is a very busy community ED with a strong teaching program, regional stroke centre, cath lab and varied patient population (lots of pediatrics). We have triple or quadruple coverage for the times the Resident Provisional Registration physicians would be working and excellent specialist and radiology services.

Supervision:

A rotation supervisor will be assigned along with an on-shift supervisor identified for every shift

Min Requirement:

PGY 4 or 5 Royal College Emergency Medicine

Approval of Residency Program Director
