Job Description
The Region Manager of Fire Protection will lead a team of Profit Centre Managers across Canada, focusing on stewardship, performance, growth, and strategic development.

Relationships:

• Reports to: Region Manager – Westlund
• Works with: Profit Centre Managers, Management Trainees, Sales Development Trainees, Future Leaders, National Support Centre, EMCO Leadership Team, Credit Department, Vendor Relations
• External Relationships: Vendors, Customers, Industry Associations, Landlords, Service Providers, Recruitment Agencies, Post-Secondary Institutions

Job Duties

The Region Manager at EMCO has four main accountabilities:

1. Stewardship of the business model
   • Model Westlund’s Core Values, Code of Conduct/Ethics, Business Principles, Strategic Priorities, SPI adherence
   • Manage expenses above the Profit Centre
   • Share best practices with peers for organizational consistency
2. Development and selection of a world-class team
   • Conduct Performance Feedback and Development Plans for PCMs
   • Support PCMs in coaching their teams
   • Ensure appropriate placements and engagement with Management Trainees
   • Create succession plans for each Profit Centre
   • Build strong teams through Sales Development Programs
3. Strategic Growth in the Region
   • Grow market share organically and through expansion
   • Leverage vendors and brand segmentation
   • Encourage innovation and initiatives
   • Drive growth through acquisitions
4. Results
   • Expect PCMs to deliver 60% ROI and $40K PS/TM
   • Focus on operational excellence and best practices

Qualifications

Education: University degree (Business preferred)

• Experience managing multiple locations (Area Manager experience is an asset)
