Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Embryologist to join our team in a dynamic laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reproductive biology and a passion for assisting individuals and couples in their journey to parenthood. As an Embryologist, you will play a critical role in the development and management of embryos, ensuring the highest standards of care and precision.

Duties

  • Perform laboratory procedures related to the handling, culture, and cryopreservation of embryos.
  • Conduct assessments of oocytes and embryos to determine viability and quality.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients undergoing assisted reproductive technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures, patient information, and outcomes.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and laboratory protocols.
  • Participate in quality control measures to maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in phlebotomizing patients as needed for sample collection.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Reproductive Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably within a medical or hospital environment.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to embryology and reproductive health.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with cryopreservation techniques and embryo culture is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism.
