Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Toronto, ON, for an Embroidery Supervisor on the night shift from 4:30 pm to 1:00 am.

The Embroidery Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the embroidery department, including managing staff, ensuring quality standards, maintaining equipment, and coordinating production schedules. Responsibilities include supervising and training team members, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity.

Key qualifications include:

  1. In-depth knowledge of industrial embroidery machines and troubleshooting software.
  2. Extensive experience with embroidery digitizing software (Tajima preferred; Ioline acceptable) for creating and modifying embroidery files (e.g., CDR to EXP, adding stops, grouping, DST format).
  3. Managing production schedules, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met in a dynamic environment.
  4. Effective coordination with team members and other departments to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
  5. Attention to detail to uphold high quality standards and early error detection.
  6. Quick diagnosis and resolution of machine, file, or material issues to minimize downtime.
  7. Leadership skills to foster an efficient, motivated, and high-performing embroidery team.
  8. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently under pressure.
  9. Creating a positive work environment to promote engagement and productivity.
Qualifications

  • Familiarity with embroidery machines, software, and production techniques.
