Job summary

Accuenergy Inc. in Toronto designs and manufactures multifunction power meters and related automation solutions.

The hardware role collaborates with software and marketing teams to specify new products, perform schematic and PCB layout, and validate PCBA bring-up to accelerate development. You will analyze existing products with AI-assisted tools, optimize BOMs with procurement, set up test environments, and ensure compliance with IPC/UL/CSA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with switch-mode power supply design and validation.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience with hardware testing and lab instrumentation.
• Knowledge of Modbus/BACnet/IEC standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and PCB layouts for new products.
• Conduct PCBA bring-up, validation, and testing.
• Collaborate with firmware and software teams on hardware-software integration.
• Analyze and optimize existing products using AI-assisted tools.
• Develop and maintain hardware design documentation and test reports.
