Job summary

Position Summary

The Email and SMS Marketing Specialist plays a key role in engaging and retaining Bath Depot customers. This person plans, implements and optimizes communications in Klaviyo to deliver a relevant experience at every stage of the customer journey and directly contribute to online and in-store sales growth.

Responsible for the campaign calendar, automated flows and segmentation, this person transforms customer data into personalized, measurable communications. They also ensure campaign quality, deliverability and compliance while continuously improving performance.

This role works closely with the marketing, studio, e-commerce and IT teams to ensure a consistent bilingual brand experience throughout the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, build, schedule and deploy email and SMS marketing campaigns in Klaviyo in accordance with the promotional calendar and business objectives.
• Develop, maintain and optimize automated customer lifecycle flows, including welcome series, browse and cart abandonment, re-engagement and more.
• Create dynamic segments based on purchasing behaviour, preferences, engagement, language and transactional data.
• Implement A/B tests for subject lines, content, calls to action, offers, audiences, frequency and send times.
• Perform quality assurance checks before each deployment, including content, links, personalization, segmentation, consent and email and mobile rendering.
• Monitor deliverability, sender reputation and unsubscribe rates, and recommend any necessary corrective action.
• Analyze campaign and automation performance using metrics such as click-through rate, conversion, attributed revenue, revenue per recipient, subscriber growth and retention.
• Produce clear reports outlining results, key learnings, recommendations and next steps.
• Collaborate with the content, creative, e-commerce, merchandising and technology teams to ensure consistency across messaging, offers and data.
• Ensure customer data quality and synchronization between Klaviyo, the e-commerce platform, internal systems and other marketing tools.
• Stay current on best practices, new Klaviyo features and relevant applications of artificial intelligence.

Qualifications

• University or college education in marketing, e-commerce, communications, digital analytics or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, certifications and relevant experience will also be considered.
• Three years of relevant experience in email marketing, SMS, CRM or marketing automation.
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or a comparable marketing automation platform.
• Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, automated flows and performance analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, self-reliance and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Assets

• Experience in retail, e-commerce or an omnichannel environment.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, GA4 or data visualization tools.
