Randstad Canada in Clairmont, AB is hiring a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician for both shop and field service. The role offers excellent pay ($47–$54/hour) and field premiums, with day shifts in a permanent, full-time capacity.

The technician will diagnose, repair, and overhaul 14–55-ton cranes and heavy fleets, using OEM software and diagrams. A Red Seal or Journeyman certification and a Class 5 license are required; crane experience is a plus.

Formación

• Red Seal or Journeyman Heavy Duty or Transport Mechanic certification.
• Expert troubleshooter with hydraulics, wiring, and diesel engines.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; Class 1, 3, or MVI a bonus.
• CVIP experience preferred; crane background is an asset.
• Must own a full set of personal hand tools.

Responsabilidades

• Precision Diagnostics: Pinpoint complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults using OEM software and diagrams.
• Heavy Machinery Maintenance: Perform full system overhauls, routine service, and component swaps on cranes and heavy fleets.
• Field Dispatch: Drive a service truck to deliver repairs directly on client sites.
• Safety Culture: Lead hazard assessments, drive safety meetings, and maintain site compliance daily.
