Job description

RAM Elevators & Lifts Inc. is an industry-leading, Edmonton-based manufacturer of residential and commercial elevators and accessibility lifts. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Elevator Assembler for our Crystal product line.

About the role

The Elevator Assembler (Crystal) will work with the Crystal Assembly team to build RAM’s Crystal products from start to finish. This individual will work well with a team and independently with minimal supervision to ensure efficiency. Attention to detail and diligence are essential to produce high-quality lifts for RAM clients.

The successful candidate must be available to work shifts from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm as needed.

  1. Assembling electrical and mechanical components
  2. Using hand tools
  3. Following standard work practices for consistent results
  4. Building trust and respect within the team to collaboratively assemble residential and light commercial elevators
  5. Ensuring products meet high quality standards
Qualifications
  1. Previous experience in electrical and mechanical assembly preferred
  2. Mechanical knowledge required
  3. Proficiency with measuring tapes, drills, impact guns, saws, and other hand tools
  4. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  5. Proficiency in spoken and written English
  6. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a strong asset
