Reporting to the Principal, you will take an active role in shaping a welcoming, student-centred classroom while supporting a culturally grounded learning environment that honours the Tahltan Nation.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for engaging students through inquiry-based teaching, supporting academic and personal growth, and participating in cultural and community-based learning. We are looking for teachers who are not only passionate about education, but who are also eager to embrace Indigenous culture, build meaningful relationships, and become part of the community.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To qualify, you will needa Bachelor of Education,current membership in good standing with the BC College of Teachers, and teaching experience is strongly preferred, particularly in a First Nations or Indigenous learning environment.
