Position Overview:
Regent Christian Academy (RCA) seeks a passionate full-time Physical Education Teacher for grades K-5 for the duration of the 2025 school term.

About Regent Christian Academy:
Regent Christian Academy is a BC Ministry-certified Independent Christian school located in Surrey, BC (30 km south of Vancouver). RCA has been in operation since 1978 and is well-established in the community. RCA shares a beautiful 39-acre campus with Pacific Life Bible College and Horizon Church. Regent is a well-established interdenominational Christian school of approximately 725 students (K - 12) on two campuses. RCA serves over 50 International students and 1300 distance education and home-schooled students through our Ministry-certified Distributed Learning program (Regent Christian Online Academy). We have around 50 teachers at the Sullivan campus and 15 at our Cloverdale campus (nearly 100 total staff members). Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for)

• Agreement with our doctrinal statement, purpose, and philosophies pertaining to our Christian faith-based school and policies.

• Flexibility to adjust to other course assignments as dictated by course demands

• Experience with adapting and modifying curriculum to meet the needs of students

• Strong command of classroom management skills and strategies that promote an effective learning environment and student dignity

• Willingness to work and implement school initiatives and goals in classroom routines

• Ability to work as part of a team to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with academic and/or social-emotional learning difficulties

• Willingness to work in a collaborative environment

Salary and Benefits: Teaching salary will be based on years of experience and education. Therefore, the range of the salary could be between $52,393 to $95,822 annually, depending on experience and educational background.
