Job summary

University of Regina is seeking a sessional instructor for EPE 310 – Physical Education in the Elementary School (Pre-K to Grade 8) in Whitehorse. The course focuses on curriculum content, teaching methods, assessment, and resource materials for elementary and middle years students.

Normally, applicants will have a Master’s of Education and experience with Saskatchewan curriculum; university teaching is an asset. Course times are 1800–2045 on Tuesdays, Sept 1–Dec 7, 2026, with on-site delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in K-12 or teacher education programs.
• Knowledge of Saskatchewan curriculum and Faculty of Education programs.
• Ability to design, deliver and assess course content for pre-K to grade 8.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EPE 310 in a face-to-face format in Whitehorse.
• Prepare and assess course materials, assessments and resources.
• Support student teachers in practicum and coursework contexts.
