Now Hiring Elementary Occasional TeachersFor September 2025See Yourself in Limestone!The Limestone District School Board is seeking Elementary Occasional Teachers for the upcoming 2025/26 school year to support the continuity of learning for our students. Occasional Teachers play an important role in providing ongoing instruction and learning for students when regular classroom teachers are absent. Occasional Teachers have the opportunity to work multiple days on a weekly and/or monthly basis (September through June) based on their availability. Occasional teaching is an excellent learning experience that supports progression to contract teaching with the Board.

Qualifications, Knowledge, And ExperienceWe are seeking qualified Primary, Junior and/or Intermediate Elementary Teachers to join our Elementary Occasional Teacher List who demonstrate:

- Strong planning, problem solving and organizational skills

- All summative Practicum Teacher Reports (from 2024-2025 Faculty of Education graduates).

InterviewsInterviews will be held in person at the LDSB Education Centre – 220 Portsmouth Avenue, Kingston on
Thursday May 15th, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be requested to submit written consent to contact three professional referees, including current and prior supervisors. Prior to an interview a written component will be administered.
