Compensation Range: $53,743 – $94,181 (prorated)

The King’s School is accepting applications for an Elementary Music Specialty Teacher, starting September 2025, approximately 0.5 to 0.6 FTE. The ideal applicant would have a vision for expanding and developing our music program, including extending it into the secondary school.

Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate a genuine relationship with Christ and a pedagogy that reflects a biblical worldview. To be considered for the role, candidates should possess relational attributes, strong classroom management skills, and a passion for pursuing Christ. Teachers should hold—or be in the process of acquiring—a valid BC Teaching Certificate and educational specialization or equivalent experience in Music.

Compensation Range

We follow SCSBC compensation guidelines, depending on education, category qualifications, and experience. We offer an excellent compensation package, including an 8.05% pension, a premium dental plan, and extended health benefits.
