Job summary

The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board is seeking an Elementary Monitor to supervise students during lunch and ensure a safe, clean school environment. The role involves assisting with minor tasks and helping students transition back to class at several schools including Listowel, Seaforth, Exeter, St.

Marys, and more. Monitors work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–3:00pm, on an as-needed basis, with compensation at $17.60 per hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay.

Elementary Monitor Position

The Elementary Monitor, reporting to the Principal, is responsible for providing a safe and clean environment for students by supervising students who remain on the school grounds over the lunch hour. Our schools are located in geographical areas such as Seaforth, Exeter, St. Marys, Clinton, Goderich, Zurich, Stratford, Seaforth, Listowel, Wingham, Dublin, Kinkora, and Dashwood. Elementary Monitors are scheduled on an as-needed basis, Monday to Friday, with shift availability between the hours of 8:00am-3:00pm. The current hourly wage is $17.60 per hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay.
