Job summary

Sacred Heart Catholic School in Williams Lake, BC, invites applications for an 0.8 FTE Elementary Learning Resource Coordinator. The successful candidate will plan, develop, implement and evaluate individualized education programs for students with developmental delays and learning/behavior challenges within an RTI framework and inclusive practices.

Applicants must be BC-certified teachers with TRB certification, and have training in special/inclusive education.

Qualifications

• BC-certified teacher with TRB certification required.
• Experience applying RTI and differentiated instruction.
• Commitment to inclusive learning opportunities for diverse learners.
• Ability to coordinate educational staff and assistants.
• Knowledge of BC’s New Curriculum is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate individualized education programs.
• Coordinate the work of educational assistants and other personnel.
• Collaborate with outside organizations and community partners.
• Use evidence-based best practices to support learners.
• Support students with developmental delays and behavior challenges.
